Gemini Season Prepares You For New Experiences
Plus, we're having a Sun-Uranus conjunction today ☀️
Dear Moon Gazer,
Uranus is a big player right now that we need to talk about, but first, I wanted to let you know that I’ve sent out May’s Q&A newsletter. In it, I answer these questions:
I’ve seen some astrology descriptions online saying that I have a Pluto complex, what does this mean?
What does the 12th house represent?
With Saturn moving into Aries, what does this mean if Saturn is in Aries in my birth chart?
There’s a theme in this month’s Q&A: metamorphosis. Click below to become a paid subscriber to get access to these questions for only $5 USD/month or $50 USD/year. I’ve love for you to join!
Today, we are having a Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus. It’s one of the last hurrahs of Uranus’ time in Taurus before it enters Gemini (in July). I talked about Uranus in my last newsletter because it was with the full moon, and it continues to make a bright splash right now in our lives. A Sun-Uranus conjunction is all about radical change, breaking free from the usual, discovering new identities, and developing new insights. When planets are conjunct, it’s like a new moon (when the sun and moon are together) beginning a new cycle. As I’ve been mentioning, 2025 has a lot of NEW energy with planets changing signs that they’ve been in for quite some time. This Sun-Uranus conjunction is sparking fresh starts and perspectives right as Saturn is about to move into Aries starting new foundations in a different area of your life.
We are also approaching Gemini season in a few days! Happy early birthday, Gemini Suns 🥳 Gemini season is great for learning a little bit of everything, getting curious, being a social butterfly, charmer, flirt, falling in love with ideas, being spontaneous, enjoying the moment, getting lost in laughter and conversation, making clever jokes, testing our trivia knowledge, playing word games, and innovating.
Adapting, curiosity, and flexibility are key words this month, and for the year in general. Gemini, as the air, mutable sign of Mercury, knows how to adapt to any environment and situation. Gemini season teaches us that life is in flux, nothing is permanent, time is non-linear, we all have different brains, and more than one thing can be true at the same time.
This Gemini season is the last time Jupiter will be with Gemini for roughly twelve years. Jupiter in Gemini has meant lots of change, molding, shaping, and adapting. We’re still in an ever changing sea entering several new eras as I talk about in this post. On an individual level, you've being led to adapt to new changes related to the topics of the house that Gemini represents in your chart. Many of these changes might have been positive, and still had their challenges. It can be challenging to implement changes that better serve you in this period of your life. When challenges present themselves, Gemini reminds us to get CURIOUS.
With Uranus moving into Gemini soon, this can give you a fresh new outlook on your life. You might find some of your perspectives and beliefs changing or taking different shape, and/or wanting to make a radical change in your life, especially if you’re Gemini Rising, Sun, or Moon.
Gemini Season Prepares You For Uranus In Gemini Inspiring You To Shake Things Up
With Uranus getting ready to leave Taurus and enter Gemini, the Gemini area of your life is ready for new experiences. Uranus leaves the house that occupies Taurus in your birth chart and enters a different house. What whole sign house is Gemini for you? This is where you will experience new changes. For example, if you are Gemini rising, then Uranus is entering your 1st house, and that means that this year is an important one for you because the 1st house is the most personal part of you. It will likely be a busy year for you with a lot going on. You’ll be feeling like shaking up your life as a whole.
Pay attention to this Gemini season in order to receive clues of what kinds of things are up for you from big to small. What sparks of insight arise for you this Gemini season? What kinds of things are grabbing or asking for your attention? This can give you clues into some of the themes you might be dealing with over the next seven years (as Uranus will be in Gemini for seven years starting in 2026 after it dips back into Taurus one last time).
You can also look to where you have Mercury in your birth chart as Mercury rules Gemini so wherever you have Mercury will indicate another layer of nuance of what the Gemini story is for you until 2032.
If you’re Gemini Rising, Sun, Moon, or have other planets in Gemini, then this year is, especially, prominent for you. A lot of my clients have prominent Gemini in their chart, and that’s no accident. Geminis are currently on a more expansive and changeable journey of self-exploration.
If you have prominent Gemini in your birth chart and haven’t gotten an astrology reading yet this year, then I encourage you to do so to gain deeper insights into this new chapter of your life! I’d love to have one with you. You can book one with me HERE.
But, even if don’t have planets in Gemini, this could still be an important year for you. All of my clients this year have been going through important changes, and are on growth journey. Some are embracing new identities, moving to new locations, ending relationships, starting new business offerings, or wondering what their purpose is. We’ve had an insightful time together looking at their birth chart and the what the current transits and other astro timing techniques are indicating about this period in their life.

Hi, I’m Cameron Airen (they/them, but sometimes they/she💁), a professional astrologer supporting old souls with social justice values to live the life their soul intended. I have my certificate from The Hellenistic Astrology Course. I have a M.A. in Anthropology and Social Change and my BA in Women & Gender Studies, and I’ve been self-employed since my early twenties with various past solo/small businesses as the co-founder of the Feminist Coach Academy, a life coach, feminist consultant, and personal trainer/running coach. I'm also a passionate SF Giants, Warriors, and sports fan, coffee drinker, book and art lover, movie and tv buff, interested in ancient history, tarot and past life healing explorer, and advocate for queer, intersectional feminism.
Astrology is something I’ve always been interested in. Newspaper horoscopes interested me from a young age. Once I knew my sun sign (Capricorn), I would go around asking all my friends, “what’s your sign?” One time, I almost got in trouble, as a friend’s parent thought I was talking about the “devil” when I mentioned “horoscope” (little did they know that Capricorn is the devil card in tarot ). I realized, then, that astrology was taboo to some people, but it didn’t deter me. I’ve always been drawn to the taboos.
Just like feminism, I never shied away from astrology even though some gave it negative connotations. When I was 22 years old, I received my first official natal birth chart reading from a professional astrologer, and was blown away by how accurately it described me and my experience.
Ever since, I’ve chatted about astrology with friends for fun until I decided to go deeper, discovered Hellenistic Astrology and began studying its ancient roots. You can learn more about me and my approach to astrology here.
